I'm so glad you're here

ABOUT ME

Starting therapy can feel like stepping into the wilderness without a map. The Unshrink Project exists to offer that map; not as a fixed path, but as a way to see your options more clearly.

I believe everyone deserves support that aligns with who they are, not just what’s available. In our work together I help you understand your story in context, clarify what you want from support, and connect you with resources that fit your needs and values. My approach is brief, collaborative, and designed to give you both clarity and direction as you take the next step.

I love occupying this beginning space with my clients; and enjoy using my natural energy as a problem-solver and helper to ease the burden of getting started. I believe deeply in the power of relationship as a pathway to wellbeing; and see my role as harvesting the most meaningful, wholesome elements of therapy/counseling while returning agency to those who engage it.

Clients describe our work together as grounded, clear, and hopeful. I look forward to walking with you in this space.

outside of sessions

When I'm not meeting with clients, I'm often outside - a little (or a lot) rain soaked, goggling the evergreens, and finding new adventures in beautiful Washington State. I also enjoy the indoors, a good cup of coffee, and something creative to tinker with in between wrangling my two boys.

get started

If you recognize yourself in this in-between stage, you’re not alone. This project was made with you in mind.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. Taking even one step toward support is a good start.
